Our Mud/Laundry Room

This is our back porch. It's a 1922 farmhouse mudroom/laundry room... love it! Well... I will love it. Right now its a bit shabby, no chic anywhere to be found. We use it as the main entrance for humble home. We also just so happen to live on 50 acres. Can anyone say, "lots and lots and lots of mud." Not to mention our precious pooch, that resides in there while we're not home. So we are tasked with revamping the space with a minimal budget, making sure the surfaces are durable all while keeping with the vintage of the home. This is going to be fun... go team! (Don't mind the clutter... these we taken days after moving in.)

This is the entryway. (When the home was built this was the back porch. It has since been enclosed.)

This is a blank canvas. There is no storage, other than the shelf over the dryer. Also windows wrap around the entire space.

This is the far end of the space. Its an "L" shaped layout. Lots of stuff to put away, with no place to go.

We have since painted the entire room white... much brighter.

So stay tuned as we share the progress and tips along the way. Should be fun!
